Building Muscles Burns Calories
A great way to boost metabolism and burn more calories is by building muscles. Here's a fact: a pound of fat-free tissue burns 14 calories a day, whereas a pound of fat burns only 2 to 3 calories a day. This means that strength training is a great way to build muscles and take weight off! If you don't like the idea of lifting weights, try Pilates, body-sculpting or power Yoga.
